As mush as we’d hate to admit it, you can kind of judge a person by the type of music they listen to. Next time you want to get a feel for what type of gal your lady friend is, take a peek at her iPod. Having different tastes in music doesn’t mean you two can’t spark a flame, it just means you will understand why she likes certain things in her life. For example, most women who listen to pop music tend to follow magazine trends, shop in malls, etc.
If She Has Only Top 40 Music
She’s probably the type of girl who likes to fit in in her social groups. She probably wears brand name clothes, stays in fashion trends, loves to listen to the radio and definitely owns something that says TnA on it. She most likely gets her nails done on a regular basis. Top 40 doesn’t necessarily mean high-maintenece, but it could. Top 40 lovers are not individuals, rarely unique, and are highly influenced by other people. Her idea of sex music would be anything by Usher.
If She Has A Lot of Classsic Rock
She is probably trying to reinvent herself by claiming she is a hippie. She most likely smokes a lot of weed and collects records. She will definitely have a lot to say on the subject of present-day pop music and how shitty it is. She will complain about not being old enough (or BORN) to go to Woodstock. She will most likely be fun, easy going and very down to earth.
If She Has An Extremely Eclectic Mix
She is the type of girl who has a very open mind. She is willing to listen to anything once, which means she’s not the type of person to judge a book by its cover. If her mix is eclectic, containing anything and everything from country to punk to house to grindcore she’s the type of girl who appreciates music for what it really is, and not because it has a “cool beat” or “lyrics I can totally relate to”.
If She Has Electronic Dance Music
She likes to go clubbing. She probably watches Jersey Shore to get boy, fashion and hair tips and she loves when boys fight over her – or anything in general. She is more likely than not a heavy drinker and a little bit of a slut- not that there is anything wrong with that. A wise man once told me “It’s okay to be a little slutty at least once in your life”. Probably not the best choice for a romantic adult dating partner.
